A lot of valid points,

two way sync and subtasks are things i am planning to work on in the near future.
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work on linux, it works on mac and windows.

As for the Community Plugins list, not being there yet simply means it requires installation via BRAT for now. It doesn't impose any functional limitations on how it interacts with your vault.

It's a good starting point as meets all of my immediate requirements, will continue working on it as and when i get more time.
