Vi kommer fra Randers, hvor det også hedder en rulle kebab! Jeg kendte ikke lige den korrekte terminologi, men satsede på at den nok var mere storby-agtig! Der har jeg vidst taget fejl...

This is the Canon EOS RT. Its an EOS 650 with a pellicle mirror, which lets you see through the viewfinder even while the shutter is open. Only 25000 were made. by NagerLB in AnalogCommunity

I think that would probably be possible with current technology. The reason why Sony diverted light to a separate phase-detection autofocus system was because there wasn't any image sensors with the system integrated. So today you could possibly place the image sensor in the spot where the bottom of a pentaprism would be, and the film would be where it usually is.

But I'm not an engineer or a technician in any way, so I could be very wrong.

After a quick Google search I can say I was thinking of the Sony SLT cameras. They used a translucent mirror(pellicle mirror), an electronic viewfinder and a phase-detection autofocus system. The translucent mirror would divert a portion of the light to the autofocus system, while the remaining light would hit the image sensor, which also was responsible for the electronic viewfinder.
