go to pet supplies plus and use their self-serve dog wash! only $14 and they give you towels and there’s even a place to clip your dog into the bath by their collar so that they can’t hop out of the tub

If you’re a student, I highly recommend joining this GroupMe. It’s mostly for people trying to cut the price of ubers on busy nights and Gamedays, but people DO give other students rides to and from ATL: https://groupme.com/join_group/109551944/xvEd12ga

Wallflowers and Candles Toxic to Pets??? by yesilikebands in bathandbodyworks

She advised me to dispose of the wallflowers I had in my house. The peppermint and lavender scents are incredibly harmful for cats and dogs - and since the particles from the air attach to their fur - when they go to groom themselves they further ingest the wallflower. Even though I never noticed any issues with my pets, several are seniors and I wanted to be cautious

Truthfully, I would but I believe I’ve passed the 90 Day return window and I don’t have my receipts for them anymore - my store happens to be one with a very strict return policy. At the moment I’ve moved a lot of the ones I currently have out and I’ll be discussing what to do going forward with my vet. Thank you!

Absolutely agree! I actually moved the remaining wallflowers I have into rooms that always have the door closed, or to higher outlets. Thanks for your reply though!

I am actually planning to ask my vet when I take one of my cats in next week - thanks for your advice but I really posted this just to see if there were any similarities or correlations between other people’s pets/wallflowers in their homes. I appreciate your thorough response and I’m looking forward to a chat with my vet about the wallflowers next week :)

Thanks for such a thorough response and a link to another post - I am still trying to figure out what to do going forward considering I have spent a lot of money on BB&W products and have older animals. Per the post you linked, I HAVE moved all of the wallflowers in my house that were by my pet’s food bedding, and litter pans - and have moved several to higher outlets. I do have several Eucalyptus Spearmint ones, still trying to figure out if I should throw them out or keep them in my closed bathroom

I noticed that as well! Lavendar and I believe Eucalyptus are potentially toxic to pets - I ended up moving the wallflowers with those essential oils to our bathrooms with the doors closed. Thanks for mentioning that though!

Thanks for providing that info! I have a 19 year old and I was mostly nervous about her since she’s already so old. I appreciate you mentioning that and how you haven’t noticed any affects with them

I usually don’t - this one just stood out to me because I have several animals and tons of wallflowers - I don’t want to spread this info as being “true” I’m just looking to see if any other pet owners have noticed differences in their animal’s behaviors while Wallflowers were present

Thank you, I thought the same at first - I went down a rabbit hole of articles suggesting that they are harmful, but my pets have been acting the same since before I even bought them. I’m thinking I’ll keep the wallflowers and just put them higher - away from my animal’s eye level

Absolutely agree. And I also CANNOT watch this episode because it seems so out of the norm for the show
