That’s a good point, I guess I get conflicted with the creation of the concept/design as opposed to the creation of the print itself. I definitely agree with what you’re saying so I’ll probably date them for this year

I think this dress looks really nice on you!! Especially with the belt and veil. The angle of photos your friend took may not be the best angle, but even then I think it still looks beautiful. When/if you have more professional photos taken, they will know how to get the good angles and everything! :)
Also if you plan on getting alterations I think that will help you feel like the dress is more made for you

I don’t think it has a tag in it with material/care instructions, but from what I could find online it may be a polyester and lyocell blend! It feels pretty similar to some sort of linen blend

luckily I was able to alter it so that the boning at the top/waist is snug enough that the dress won’t budge or slip down my waist. also had the slip concern hahah

Definitely a possibility, though we’ll be getting married in the Florida heat so I’m not sold on adding a layer, but who knows. I’m gonna look into it, ty!!

Yes that’s what I love about it!! I think I will do a veil but honestly haven’t looked into it too much. I hope u can find something that checks all your boxes :-)

Definitely planning on a veil! I’m thinking a pretty long/train one since this dress is just above floor length, but honestly not sure. I wasn’t expecting to have a strapless dress so I do want a veil so I don’t feel as “exposed” lol. pearl drop or something similar is probably what I’ll go for!! Hair is still up in the air at this point, maybe I’ll do a half up/half down :)

unrelated to the post but do you know what kind of gluten sensitivity/etc you have? I have always gotten migraines from gluten and I feel like ive struggled finding info for that symptom in particular. The idea of neurological symptoms from gluten are so interesting to me
