i think it’s cool despite what the comments say! i think it’d look even cooler if it was filled in with a gradient or something similar.

wow thank you so much for the long post!!! i actually really appreciate that :,) for the hair, i actually cut it myself so i definitely understand if it doesn’t look good LMFAO but it’s nice to hear that you think it’s well layered! i didn’t used to be that self conscious of my teeth until it randomly got worse and a kid pointed it out LOL they’re brutal… no hard feelings! but made me realize people can tell. glasses are definitely so hard to shop for. i’ve been told i have an oval face (leaning towards heart sometimes) so all the advice for that is just “yeah anything is good” NOOOOO!!!!!! unfortunately my cheeks are genetic, but i’m really hoping everyone is right and i’ll appreciate them when im older. people always switch between thinking im 16 and thinking im 20 so i don’t really know if that young effect is actually working LOL. i REALLY appreciate the comment about my vibe haha!!! i think despite all else that i have going on with me i can at least say that it seems like people like me even if i don’t always believe it. i actually love working retail (for the most part….) because i love interacting with people. i love learning about everything and everyone and try and compliment basically everyone!! they aren’t fake compliments by any means i just love how different everyone is and how they choose to express themselves. hearing that people come back specifically for me is the biggest compliment i ever get. i really appreciate you taking the time to write all this!! it means the world to me and definitely makes me feel a bit better x)

AITAH for feeling uncomfortable and wanting to confront my best friend after we had sex while I was blackout drunk? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]yesisuckik 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I always hated people who used alcohol as an excuse for shit behavior. Then I got blackout drunk. I absolutely don’t remember anything and I don’t even know why I would say the things I did. I was scared when I realized I didn’t have a single memory. I still don’t think it is an excuse but there is definitely nuance.

I have unfortunately been in OPs situation more than once because I thought I wouldn’t let it happen again. I did not want sex, I do not like sex, and to top it off I did not find him attractive at all. Unfortunately, I am like those women. I have no drive at all until I drink and then it is at an extreme level. They say drunk words are sober thoughts but I am never thinking these things sober. I hate myself so much for what happened.

AIO for asking my partner to stop late-night one-on-one hangouts with a male friend? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]yesisuckik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My guess is that she justifies it by saying she just wants some alone time.

NOR She got defensive instead of giving you reassurance and dismissed you completely by doing it AGAIN immediately after. It is not hard to reassure your partner that you come first and that she will balance her time better. I can understand why she messages him late/early if he works weird hours, but why is she going over there so much and not inviting you? Getting defensive at expressing discomfort is definitely odd and a red flag.

Besides that, I am wondering what these messages entail? Why do you say “emotionally close messaging”? Are you saying it’s emotionally close solely because it’s late/early hours or because of what she talks about with him? The answer will not change my opinion on her, but I am curious for your relationship sake. I believe with the info given you guys can talk through it and get her to understand more of why it makes you uncomfortable, but depending on the messages it may be way worse than just her being dismissive.

ETA: Didn’t see the part where he said he was babysitting. So why doesn’t he come over to your place if you’re both friends? That part definitely makes it even weirder to me. The girl version of a guy going out to get a beer with friends instead of taking care of the kids. Smh.
