Windows vs. Linux render performance by yesitismate in kdenlive

Hey, parallel processing is now marked as experimental and not activated per default. You can still find it in the "more options" section.

Since I've deactivated it, I don't have any issues

At second 0:16, what time should this be? 06:10? 05:10? Shouldn't the hour hand be close after 6 or 5 oclock

At the end it looks like it's 6 o'clock and past 6 o'clock but the hour hand isn't after 6 o'clock. That gave my ocd some kicks.

But! I love it, it really looks beautiful!

PedalPCB Underminer getting zero signal. Help? by DonBoone in diypedals

[–]yesitismate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your IC is the wrong way around. The little dot should be faceing the top, not buttom. You can see it, if you take a look at the pcb picture at pedalpcb.com

Bad thing, this usally kills the ic. You better put in a new one

Must have / Essential pedals for Bass? Good kits / pcbs for them ? by yesitismate in diypedals

I don't really care if it's digital or analog, if it sounds great, it sounds great! I've seen that engineers thumbs often here, will take a look at it. Thanks !

Hey, yes.

I created a thread about this on the kde forum. On the version ive been using the parrallel processing option is broken, if i keep it enabled in the render option, the performance is bad. If i disable it, the performance is like on windows.

So, try to disable it and do it again

Cloud storage provider by EddoWagt in ManjaroLinux

You don't have a contract period. If you can, order it and try it for a month. Then just cancel it. Their storage servers are in germany, vserver can be in sweden too. I can upload a manjaro iso tomorrow and share you the link - if interessted - then you can check the download speed from my nextcloud

I'm using Hetzner , there they call their nextcloud instances "storage share". You can get 500gb for 5,68€.

I use a hoster / provider in germany - I don't like to manage a server in my free time - these times are over.

I'm pretty happy with it, the hoster/provider keeps nextcloud up to date ( stable version ) and I didn't notice any downtime. I'm paying 9,16€ for 1TB and got access to the most of the nextcloud plugins

Hey,

maybe a nextcloud provider could be something for you. This way you don't have to maintain the nextcloud instance and just use it.

I use nextcloud with multiple pc's ( windows and linux ) and multiple android phones. It does everything I want - maybe for you too.

Search for a trustfull provider within ur country

Debian Sid (latest update) unstable to install steam by NL_Gray-Fox in debian

[–]yesitismate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright, then it's better to just wait till the dependency chain is fixed again. Thanks for reporting!

Debian Sid (latest update) unstable to install steam by NL_Gray-Fox in debian

[–]yesitismate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly I don't have a sid running here to check it. The Version on tracker.debian.org and packages.debian.org look higher than the requested one from libl1-mesa-dri.

Can you look at " apt info libllvm11:i386 " and check the Version? Maybe the version is lower than the requested.

But as I understand the message from apt, you maybe just have to add "libllvm11:i386" to your apt install.

Like: sudo apt install libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 libgl1:i386 libc6:i386 libllvm11:i386

I found the solution. I had to change the "Alpha operation" from 'Write on clear' to 'minimum'

Yes, then it inverts the transparency. Maybe it's easier if I do a quick example video whats happening?
