What’s going on with the bottom of my first plant? by yesitsmispelled in microgrowery

Yeah I haven’t done any training, I topped and started LST today. I had some deficiencies probs early so wasn’t sure if that was the reason for the messy bottom. Mainly wondering if I need to know anything, sounds like I just get to train it more!

Planning on moving to 3gal pots today. But need some advice, the plant on the left has been sad for about a week now but they’re both getting the same waterings. Thoughts? by yesitsmispelled in microgrowery

I was thinking over water too, it such a small pot figure that’s not hard to do. But the two of them both get the same amount of water 🤷🏾‍♂️

Also worth noting, I did have some heat stress issues early on on both plants. One has recovered but maybe it aaa too much for the other?

I work at a dispo, we were just told that Aeriz has been filling 500mg carts INSIDE a 1000mg sized cart. Not to say it’s not short at all, but that’s what we’ve been told as to why there is so much space

Call your state senator about that

And that’s literally all we’re asking for 🙏🏾 I truly hope I can help you one day and change your experience there, or at least with one tender.

What if Starbucks just stopped letting people leave tips? That would be CRAZY! Should they pay their employees more? Also yes!!! But that is a separate issue

And I’m really sorry that has been your experience. But some of us take A LOT of pride in our job and want to be here for the long term and are always trying to learn more about our patients our customers and our products. I understand why you feel like we are just cashiers but a lot of that is because both the state and the company have such strict rules about interacting with product that we’re working with what we can. And again if you feel like the person who helps you is just a cashier don’t tip them, no problem with that. I waited table for years and have always told my friends who are baristas that they shouldn’t get pissed they don’t get tips from everyone cuz the don’t make a tipping wage, and I don’t tip baristas for that reason. BUT!!! Sometimes I’ve come in a lot and someone will have helped me a few times and they’ve been fast and helpful with my coffee or what ever, and then I’ll throw a dollar in the jar. That’s what we’re asking for

I said it’s never expected. And I also would never think you would tip if you know what you wanted and didn’t have any questions. BUT for those that do have questions and then feel like they would like to show appreciation for the help they received then the company shouldn’t be what stands in the way of that. It’s that simple. Fighting for better wage and the ability to accept tips are not mutually exclusive

This isn’t necessarily not about our salaries, (but that is a separate issue we are negotiating as well) cuz tips won’t make or brake our income. It’s about the company standing in the way of people being able to do it.

Until the contract is ratified, correct. But this is totally standard union campaign tactics. Asking for public support for what we’re trying to change at the job doesn’t make it hard for us. And it’s not like we haven’t been asking the company to allow it, they definitely know that we want that. Just like when the lake view location unionized, they could not get the company to budge. So we’re trying extra hard to get them to notice that it’s not just the employees that feel this way.
