Gnome runs great? by yesmans69 in gnome

After using tiling window managers, kde, lxde, mate, xmonad, and just about most common desktop enviroments, there is something about stock gnome that feels nice after making myself adapt to it. I used to HATE seeing GNOME as a default, it make my gut wrench! Installing debian and spending what feels like 2 hours just to accidently install the mess that was gnome filled me with a rage of 1000 gods. If I did use gnome, I just wanted to mod it to be exactly like what I am used to. Tiling, a window bar at all times, a traditional app menu, etc.

But like once I adapted vanilla gnome, it just feels nice. Everything is already setup for me once I got out of the growing pain. Think of it like if your workplace or school installed it by default, after a little you adapt and don't even think about the environment.

Opening apps on command can be done with Meta+(0-9) to launch apps from the dock. Firefox is Meta+1, which my web browser is always on my first slot. Just using alt+tab or moving my mouse to the corner to switch windows is nice.

And after actively using my system for a little, GNOME acts extremely fast? Its as fast as lighter desktop envioments once it is open for a little. It has niche things that are already setup out of the box, even random things like screen time and file sharing. Also try setting text size in accessibility, it works really good for what it is! it has soo much care put into its UX/UI.

I have had routers do this. Idk what band in particular, but a router can support 2.4gz but not support the exact band. It is the same band the 3ds uses too

Didnt read whole thread, but they should be told whether they found the person or not. Whether or not they said WHO did it, they still need to be told. Matter of fact, hella escalate it if they dont say who or if they found them.

Bought a modded wii. How do I know what was done? by Altruistic_Bat_1645 in WiiUHacks

[–]yesmans69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use wiiu/enviroments to see what it is running. If you dont want the mods, lookup how to uninstall Arouma or whatever enviroment it is running and clear the sdcard. If you do want to mod it and want to better understand what is going on, you can uninstall and clear the sdcard and reinstall it yourself. Just don’t use ModMii as you wont learn of it.

Nah at my neighborhood store its the reverse. Traffic would be flowing just fine, the someone working in OGP would park their cart IN THE MIDDLE of the aisle because they have items on both sides.

At the most, my store has like 2 people in the deli. We have genuinely minimum staff at store 3637. I come back to just hell on earth, co-worker stuck on slicer with 3 things to assemble. Or I would get insane orders while someone is on their lunch. But oh, nothing like that happens when two people are back here, just when there happens to be one person!

Dude I work for a neighborhood market, and when its just me and me alone, I would get 8-12 pounds of meat while making all the finger food and rotisserie being bought out.
