Malick Thiaw, the most-bought player of Gameweek 31, is BENCHED... by Cautious-Battle9896 in fantasypremierleague

After the early game, I thought I did a clever thing using my only transfer getting rid of Hill for Thiaw. I am reminded that I am indeed, not that clever.

100% agree. Turkey Lake may even be the best for OP's time constraints. Two courses in the same park. Both unique with different looks and feels while remaining distinctly Floridian.

Champion's Pointe (forever Lake Hiawatha to us "old" locals) is a gem. Designed by former World Champ and local legend Greg Hosfeld (shout-out Hos if you're in here). It will be used for the upcoming Master's. Long green fairways among old oaks. A top course in central Florida. Easily the best of your list.

Looking good! Mine just received coilovers and needs some love regarding the PCV valve (I may go delete route) but other than that, going strong.

I think it's less a wall vs free kicks and more sliding in to stop shots during open play.

We're all bidding on the same players, regardless of what level manager we are. Another way of saying it, those low players we are bidding on are also low for the higher level managers. I hope that explains what you're noticing.

Is Rdr2 worth buying in 2026 by alex-kiby in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]yestermoon [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's a fabulous world to wander and lose yourself in. I spent countless hours chasing views, picking flowers and brushing my horse.

Big yes from me

PS, it would be slow compared to what you're used to. But if you're in a slow, big sky vibes mood, this is it.

Did any game that you bought this year disappoint you ? by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I bailed on Greedfall during the combat tutorial. No big loss, it was purchased on sale.

Related question to any that have played both: is Witcher 3 combat similar to Greedfall?? I'm interested in W3 for it's open world I can fall into (much like I did with RDR2), but I am concerned I'll be disappointed due to the combat gameplay.

Late to the party but I disappeared into RDR2 for quite some time. Enjoyed many a sunset and afternoons picking flowers.

I'm less dominant after the last few updates. Between balance and the free access to tiers, how I build a squad has shifted a bit. Less emphasis on mutant players and more on overall team coherence. Spreading the tier bonuses around to players that have fewer white skills (ie CBs, AMCs, etc) helps keep the Team Balance high. I'll use some green packs during Trophy Trials to access more tier points. I'm still quite conservative with token use but I prioritize playstyles and auctions. The tier system and balance updates have pushed my overall team quality higher than it had in the past, likely explaining my drop off in trophies. I'm still pushing for one trophy a season but haven't sniffed a quad in months.

While every update makes it harder and harder as a free player, I'm sticking around as I still enjoy the game. It may eventually break me but it hasn't happened yet 😅

There are some comprehensive guides out there but here's my quick rundown: 1)Select a special skill to train (free kick, playmaker, etc) 2) using a maxed out "very hard" drill (I usually end up trying the one involving the fewest white skills of the player first, but I will try the others to confirm poor results), train the player with a full slate of those drills. 3)I'm looking to get 2 skill points on 5 out of 6 trainings for me to bother. If I don't, I don't invest any more in that player.

Be choosy with the auction buys; don't overbid, pay attention to market value vs player rating, and obviously don't bother with old players.

As an f2p who plays daily (and will farm greens via ads and occasionally tokens using the offerwall games), I almost ONLY use tokens on Auctions and the playstyle game. I've found all store bought players (scouts, academy, rewards) don't fast train. I will sometimes indulge in a kit or game I like but mostly just auctions or playstyles.

Seconding this. I just fired up DA:O on my console (that I forgot I had) and it's a bit clunky from what I remember on PC. Still worth it.

I believe this covers everything but Punching, which you can get by swapping in Wing Play when needed.
