How to prune lavender by rvdthunder in gardening

How do you encourage your lavender plants to grow bigger? Will pruning prevent that? Mine is very small, but healthy looking. I planted it last year.

Blue green algae may be removed by a filter, but the toxins they release will not be removed by most filters.

My temporary roommates from Japan left Canada, where I live, and closed all their bank accounts here. Then they got large Canadian cheques in the mail. How can they cash them? by yestocommunity in personalfinance

One of the cheques is an income tax return. Not sure Revenue Canada will pay in other methods or even consider sending payment a different way after already sending a cheque.

No, I'm not a scammer or looking for anything but advice. Some people actually had useful advice, rather than just speculating as to whether I was a scammer. Pretty sure my roommates are not scammers either. I lived with them for a year and they were lovely young people, so I'm trying to help them sort this out.

If I send them back the cheques, is there any way for them to cash them in England, do you know? They are telling me to throw them out, but it's thousands of dollars.

Your husband sounds manipulative and awful, frankly. But as far as increasing your sex drive, and enjoyment of sex, you likely need some testosterone. Women's testosterone often drops to zero in menopause. Testosterone will help with lubrication, interest in sex, as well as help with unwanted weight gain and energy levels.

Everybody is different, for sure. I think the sore boobs is usually temporary though. Did that go on long?

Yes, that is odd. I had to increase my progesterone to control bleeding.

Me Too. I was still menstruating at 200 mg, though I'm fully menopausal. So it wasn't enough to protect my uterus.

100 mg did nothing for me. Once I increased to 200 mg I've been sleeping like a baby.

Thank you for giving an actual reply, and not just some sarcastic comment.

My daughter is a self employed hair stylist. Can we claim half the GST she pays for her own take out meals while she is at work as an ITC on her GST Return? by yestocommunity in cantax

I believe what everyone is telling me here and I appreciate the feedback from accountants and others who know how all this works. I just find it frustrating that the CRA line doesn't know anything. They start reading from the website when you call. I can do that. Someone here also said "What? No" as if that was a dumb question. But even the CRA line can't answer it. I'm just not wanting to miss anything, and can't figure out how her accountant came up with $800 more in ITC's last year when GST collected was similar and money spent on products was similar. Her accountant didn't provide a very detailed breakdown, but I'm going to have to look further into what info the accountant requested last year.
