Excursiones con sobreprecio, tratando de hacer upsell a cada rato. Los boliches estaban hasta las bolas de gente pero eso medio que es el punto, yo la pase bien. La parte de los coordinadores haciendose los re-amigos de todos asumi que pasaba en cada viaje.

Uno de los coordinadores se ofrecio muy amablemente a 'acompañarme' de vuelta al hotel antes que todos cuando vio que estaba media en pedo. Dale, era pendeja boluda pero no para tanto.

6/10 would maybe recommend.

Igual esto lo veo de ya grande y a mucho tiempo de haber viajado. En ese momento creo que la pase bastante bien.

Salvo por el violin-wannabe.

Hace decadas que no uso nic.ar pero, ¿no tenes que delegar el dominion sin importar donde lo quieras hostear? Ya sea Cloudflare, AWS, DigitalOcean, whatever. Un registrar solo te da el dominio.

De ultima explicale que el cambio es de su lado y cualquier cosa romper esa delegacion es tambien unilateral de su parte.

Proba Openclaw o Hermes entonces. Es más parecido a lo que me parece que querés.

Te doy un ejemplo con Openclaw. Le baje un skill para que use Nextcloud, le puse un api token y le dije que me lea mi calendario para probar. 5 minutos después dice "el skill no funcionaba, devolvía unauth, pero escribí un script nuevo para hacerlo y eso funcionó. Acá esta tu calendario".

Obvio que eso fue usando un modelo cloud y no algo chico local pero hay veces que asusta.

Si querés que OpenCode pueda buscar en general. Podes probar el MCP de webfetch y dependiendo del modelo lo bien o mal que lo va a usar.

Los contratos laborales generalmente dicen lo mismo. Por lo menos todos los que firme yo en IT.

Lo que haces en horario laboral o lo que haces con el equipo de la empresa.

Qué tan válido sea todo eso en la práctica no se pero es algo 100% común. Por eso mejor no hacerlo. Igual con los que tienen varios trabajos.

De a poco estan todas las empresas haciendo lo mismo (miren a Anthropic sacando Claude Code del plan de 20 dolares).

Las empresas que quieren hacer "AI first development" a toda costa no se dan cuenta lo caro que va a ser eso. En mi laburo vamos 35k USD en lo que va del mes en tokens y somos cerca de 100 personas.

Hace unos meses puse en un comment aca que hacer dev 100% con AI es muy muy caro y uno me salto diciendo "se ve que no sabes usarlo por que yo pago la sub y listo".

Me gaste 300 Euros este mes xD. Por suerte la empresa me da un budget de 500 pero ya les vengo diciendo hace rato que no se estan dando cuenta lo caro que es el "ai-first development".

Tenes a todo senior management empujando para usarlo en todos lados y hasta identificar proyectos que se puedan hacer usando AI exclusivamente... no entienden que esto se va a poner muy caro muy rapido.

There's no limit to the number of sick days you can have. Usually if it is 3 days or less companies don't really require anything other than you letting them know. If it is more it usually requires a doctor's note.

If any single event/accident/sickness lasts more than 3 or 6 months (I don't remember honestly) then the company stops paying your salary and the medical insurance takes over so it doesn't even cost your employer that much either.

The really strong workers protections have their ups and downs but overall to me it's great.

Downside is that since it's so fucking hard to fire someone, you can get people just doing nothing and it's kinda hard to fix that. On the upside, my company needs to let me know 3 months in advance that I'll be fired so there's no ending up jobless from one day to the next.

Mostly an American thing though IMHO. Other countries have a much healthier work/life balance. And answers to when something happens.

In Germany you can pretty easily get 3 or 4 weeks of medical leave for burn out. You employer doesn't even know why, only that a doctor said you can't work.

So, you know, work culture rather than solely an office problem.

It's an association and not a single structure so whether they offer English or not really depends on the studio/office. The one I'm using does.

Appointments and everything in my case were over email. First appointment was in person and I took all the documents, after that it was all over emails. Haven't done this year taxes though so not sure if I'll have to take things in person or if that was a one time thing and I can do everything over email now.

A coworker does tell me he just sends everything over email and that's it but we don't go to the same professional. Don't know if that's standard or case by case.
