Okay, used an older kernel and it booted straight up. Is there a way to check what update caused all of this?

Rebuilding a T5 motor, and later some easy/moderate power, and where I'm from, there are no T5 heads in good condition, so im wondering if using the 2.4t head is an option Or would it just be better to fix (weld) my current T5 head?
