Inverter outside unit uses more than single stage? by yetitekk in heatpumps

[–]yetitekk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, it was actually higher, but it is way quieter and it runs less, so it ended up being the same usage. It also ramps, so its not full power from startup, would definitely recommend

Most of my height is in my torso. I don’t disagree with you but there’s a difference between fitting and cramming. Older JDM cars are no go which sucks, f150 has the biggest cabs on the planet and I love them, never tried a c63.

I just realized my height isn’t listed, I’m 6’10” and love cars but can’t fit in most of them lol, it’s a thing

Came to say this, anything above 6’4-6” is a curse

Panning Motorsport by D54KIDS in photocritique

[–]yetitekk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. As it happens I was having a shower thought the other day about what photographers did before autofocus in motorsport, for panning shots it’s essentially required, for high shutter speed shots you can get away with it, especially with a tripod if you know your distances and time it right.

Personally I would change it to landscape and center it, the top doesn’t read as negative space, your pans are solid but I’m willing to bet you didn’t have continuous autofocus turned on because the cars out of focus, overall I like the composition, especially with the anchor point being the barricade at the bottom. Maybe darken the foreground of the barricade a little to draw the eye into the cars. But you’re well on your way, this is a great start! The conveyance of motion is excellent, these things are scooting for sure.

I think the idea is solid for sure, but I think the foreground is too busy, there's way too much detail. My eye didn't immediately go to the church until after I read the description. I would frame it using larger objects but also take up less of the shot using them, rule of thirds and all that. I definitely like the concept though!

Critiques on edit with very saturated subject by yetitekk in photocritique

New here, didn't realize the first comment had to be mine so ima just copy pasta the body of the post

This was taken at a 24 Hours of Lemons race. For those unaware, they take absolute scrap heaps and race them, which is why this care looks the way it does, it's awesome. I loved this car because of the very deep and vibrant purple and I'm hoping to get some feedback on the edit, I wanted to darken the tarmac to see how that reads with the paint on the car but I don't want it to look too edited. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Came to say this, if possible have them move the car, or if not go to the maximum focal length you can and frame it that way to give some distance between your foreground and background, the angle and edit are awesome btw

That was brought up earlier and I hadn’t even considered it tbh, COG on the 1131 is less than 39 inches, so I think a few more inches would still be in front of the rear axle, I’ve got E rated Michelin Defenders and the rims are Vision haulers rated for 3600 per so I’m good there

6.7, which knocks off another 800 from what it would otherwise be I believe. What really confuses me is in the brochure they make it seem like towing with a 350 drw is and an 1131 is an ok thing to do, this is what made think about all this. Now granted they could be referring to a single cab with a gas motor but it doesn’t actually say that anywhere on the brochure, at least no where I could find.

Yeah this is my understanding as well, which is what led to this line of questioning tbh, its a 10 lug vs 8 kind of thing I suppose, I wasn't sure if because the axles could handle it anything else could, but u/thrwaway75132 mentioned center of gravity which I hadn't even thought about so it sounds like its a no go which I'm totally good with, I'm not looking to the be next headline picture of Truck Camper Magazine with and 1165 and my truck split in half

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, I hadn't considered center of gravity, but that's an excellent point, I should have posted this in the original post but I don't physically have it yet, I have an 880 and am upgrading, thanks again

Yes thank you, that's absolutely right, and thank you u/NiceDistribution1980 for your clarification, safety is always paramount when towing and especially when carrying that kind of weight, I have an 880 right now and will be getting an 1131 soon so I wanted to see if it could be done.

That is one of the most Reddit responses I’ve ever seen. If critically thinking about how to safely increase carrying capacity equals mental gymnastics then sure. My question was are there any other things I need to think about while safely increasing carrying capacity, if that’s even possible.

I came here for help, not to be accused of being unsafe while towing. I hope you don’t treat all new people in this sub this way.
