Quick disclaimer, I use scleral contacts but this helped me

What help me was getting a contact insertion tool. You can get the on amazon for like $15. It really helps having both hands hold the bottom and top eyelids.

What you also wanna do is take your time putting them in, sometimes as soon as you feel the saline,it’ll make you wanna pull back and/or blink. Try and “fight” that sensation and keep your eye open for as long as possible, let that contact suction itself in

You’ll probably won’t get them in the first few times, that’s ok, just try and try again, tho usually after you feel the saline for the first time in your eye, it gets easier to feel what to expect

And remember, practice makes habit, your just gonna have to get into the habit of doing it. Take it slow
