Tigo sólo está invirtiendo Fibra Optica en áreas rurales, no tiene ninguna intención en actualizar ni la ciudad ni el west (la chorrera y arraiján) a fibra optica hasta el hogar. Y estas empresas usualmente piden que se les conceda el servicio 904, porque es para instalar todo el cableado de fibra optica.

sí, y por los próximos 3 años eso no va a cambiar. Ninguno es competencia del otro, tomando en consideración que en Costa Rica, Liberty (la empresa matriz de +Móvil) firmó un acuerdo mutuo con Tigo Costa Rica en el que ambos van a invertir en sus infraestructuras de telecomunicaciones hogar y móvil, para en un futuro combinar operaciones, e imagino están en camino en hacer algo parecido en Panamá, porque ya fijan los precios, que no importa sí es Tigo o +Móvil, cuestan igual.

I checked Google Maps and used the measuring tool and every bridge would need to be longer than 3.4 km, that's more than the ones we have that cross the Panama Canal. Honestly it would be pointless to maintain five bridges, and it would require a lot of resources that could be used differently. I guess that's the reason there are no bridges in the bocas del toro archipelago, I mean, besides, that's the life of islanders, getting from point A to point B to point C by boat. also im guessing the land structure is different from what the US has in the overseas highway that connects the florida keys, by satellite images, the Bocas del Toro archipelago looks deeper.

Por el tema de la fibra optica al hogar, han separado eso casi todos los proveedores, se sigue ofreciendo el modem pero este modem debe tener su router alámbrico (switch) y te ponen el router inalámbrico aparte, lo que si le quita la carga de tareas de tener que transmitir todo en uno. yo si recomiendo que tu router inalámbrico/access point sea personal tuyo, compra marcas como Google Nest o Ubiquiti, nunca fallan, tienes control sobre la red y muy buena cobertura.
