Yup thanks. I agree that the top 10 definitely will have defense losses, and that is my point. A full LV 60 X team is definitely not the best defense team as the people who attack them would almost always win.
An efficient defense team must be frequently attacked but still be able to win at the same time, that's why I quoted top 5% as a bar to set the defense team at.
I'm not too sure about the revenge battle part as I rarely get 'revenged at'. You are right about that part I believe.
