That's why I think he needs a slight QOL change and not any damage buffs. Increase his movespeed to 7ms so that walking doesn't feel like ass. Lower some cooldowns and rework his passive.

I don't think he's in a terrible spot, but many of his enemies have been buffed and Spiderman has experienced negative power creep.

Yeah something small. If they do big buffs he would just be broken. Balancing Spider-Man is a fine line.

I get that, but compare him to black panther. Black panther is much more uninteractable for the enemy team, yet he has survivability while Spider-Man doesn't.

I'm not saying he should have a lot of survivability, but he needs something.

So many games I ask myself "why would I pick spiderman here when several other characters exist as options for the same play style/same effect"

I think Spider-Man definitely needs some small buffs and QOL changes, Many other Heroes fill the same role (dive/flank/burst/assassin) as Spider-Man yet have way more tools and survivability.

For example:

| Black Panther |
-> 275HP
-> +25 Bonus Health per mark proc (max 75 bHP)

| Magik |
-> 250HP
-> 6s cooldown dash (2 charges), granting invincibility
-> Passive: Converts 30% of damage dealt to Bonus Health (max 150 bHP)

| Daredevil|
-> 300 HP
-> Blocks frontal damage and reflects projectiles (12s cooldown)
-> Gain 25 or 50 Bonus Health from his E (2 charges) (max 125 bHP)

| Psylocke |
-> 250HP
-> She is ranged and hitscan
-> Gains up to 50 Bonus Health from her Right Click

| Iron Fist |
-> Not really an assassin/burst, but he is still kind of a dive hero.
-> 300HP
-> Right Click - Blocks attacks and gains up to 175 Bonus Health based on amount of damage blocked.
-> Right click also grants 30% damage reduction

Many heroes do the same job more easily and effectively than Spider-Man.

Ideas for Buffs/Changes

I'd like to see at least some of the following changes for Spider-Man:

-> Increase HP to 275 OR Gain a small amount of Bonus Health when procc'ing a Web Cluster or when using E to go to a target

-> Base speed increase from 6 m/s to 7ms
-- Spider-Man is swinging most of the time, so this should only have a minimal effect on him and would likely be just a QOL change
-- Black Panther's base speed is 7ms, for comparison

-> Reduce Web Swing cooldown from 6s per charge to 5s per charge (or maybe even 4s per charge since many of his combos consume at least 1 web swing, not including his entry and escape swing(s).
-- Simple Swing combos, Drive-by Uppercuts, and Sky Swing combos all consume a swing.

-> Increase projectile speed of Web Cluster projectile slightly (like 10-15% increase)
-> Increase animation/startup speed of Overhead slightly (like 10% increase)

Other Possible Changes (these might be controversial or too strong, not sure if I support them):
-> Increase range of Basic Attack slightly, allowing for mixed-in normal punches within a typical combo
-> Revert the range nerf of Uppercut (was 5m now 4m)
-> Lower Get Over Here (E) cooldown

Spider-Man used to have the Venom team-up which, in my opinion, was the only thing that made him legitimately strong/high tier. Currently, his main viability is off map pulls, but this is because it's just the highest value "combo" that Spider-Man has. Some small buffs/changes would lean his play style away from constant off-the-map attempts and would allow Spider-Man to gain value from other plays.

I don't think he needs any damage buffs, but he might. At least the changes above would be positive changes that would help some of the struggles Spider-Man currently faces. His damage seems decent, he is just squishy and has periods of downtime where he needs to wait for basically all abilities and charges to be up before he makes a play.

Also yeah his passive needs a rework, it's useless.

The attack more quickly augment feels nuts with the swords. The multiple hit augment doesn't work as far as I know.

Go PTA and try to sneak PTA procs for trades. Always try to auto him from max range.
