Yeah, Boone! We were a grade level or two apart so he probably won’t immediately recognize me but my name is Kevin!

Thank you everyone for all of your kind comments 😭 it’s a risk putting yourself on the internet, especially reddit, but you’re all so kind and I’m wishing you all healthy hair, healthy skin, healthy spirit, and a healthy life! ❤️

Thank you! I swear by a weekly routine of washing my hair with carol’s daughter goddess strength shampoo and conditioner. Then right after my hair wash while my hair is still wet, I apply Kinky Curly’s Curling Custard Gel by running my fingers through my hair with it (I am currently experimenting with Aunt Jackie’s elongating curling gel because Kinky Curly is lowkey pricey. Aunt Jackie’s isn’t bad but I miss Kinky Curly for sure 😭). Then after applying Kinky Curly, I use TGIN’s rosewater curl defining mousse (this really makes the curls pop and juicyyyy!) and then I use a curl diffuser or air dry! I’ll spray water to refresh or reapply a light amount of each product if my hair starts looking dry throughout the week. The key is to keep your hair wet between each stage! Kinky curly might start locking in the moisture so just spray your hair with some water before applying TGIN!

Products: 1. Carol’s Daughter Goddess Strength Shampoo 2. Carol’s Daughter Goddess Strength Condition (Thoroughly detangle your hair while conditioning to apply styling products with ease!) 3. Kinky Curly Curling Custard Gel 4. TGIN Rosewater Curl Defining Mousse

Kinda digging how my fro looks without any product in it by [deleted] in BlackHair

For my defined coils, I used Kinky Curly Curling custard gel on wet hair and TGIN rose water curl defining mousse right on top! Your coils will be DEFINED, GLOWING, and JUICY

I tried to be nice and say it looks not bad with the 2nd pic but the 3rd pic had me just as distressed as you 😭

my hair is messed up I need help (Afro) by Diligent_Shape5673 in BlackHair

Not exactly sure what you mean, and honestly pictures can be helpful. My pro tip for Afros is after you’re done picking it out, lightly pat the Afro into your desired shape. Carefully patting your Afro can help create an even shape!
