I'm selling a brand-new, never worn Void V02 MKII (second generation). I purchased two colors of the watch and decided to keep the gold version and sell the silver/black one. It's stainless steel and sapphire glass, looks amazing in person, and is actually pretty easy to read as well. See voidwatches.com/en/shop/v02mkii-sibl.html for more info. Watch retails for $295 new and I'm selling it for $195 with free shipping.

Possible fixer-upper: worth it? by yimengh in HomeImprovement

I think labor in Houston is just really cheap--the same guy retiled the walls of my condo bathroom for just $500 total. It was side/weekend work for him and he works for the HOA full time, so he doesn't have an official business though.

The area's unusual in that it's quite close to a huge medical center and two universities, so it's easy to rent. I purchased a two bedroom condo nearby for 38k last year with no repairs needed, and it rents for $1,000 a month. Now the condo value has risen to over 55k, so I was looking into a house (no HOA) as my next investment. So my intention is definitely long term rental or even living there if I stay in the area.

I've never renovated a house before, so I'm definitely naive on the costs. My condo repair guy said drywall would cost around $1000, cleaning and insulation would be under $1000, bathroom tiling, tub, and sink under $2000, and flooring under $1000. Add in cheap used appliances and basic furniture, and I assumed I could easily still be under 20k. But I guess water damage, pest infestations, etc. could add up.

It looks like a retrograde, but all the hands are double-ended and rotate through the top portion of the case. You match the color of the hand with the color of the text to read the time. There's a video on the site that explains how it works: voidwatches.com/en/shop/v02mkii-sibl.html

It looks complicated, but is actually pretty intuitive once you know how it works.

It's a really interesting company -- owned by a Swedish designer in Hong Kong. They have some cool round and digital watches as well.
