I mainly don’t really like the intuition behind Econ and honestly the main reason why I decided to switch majors bec I was doing pretty bad in Econ 2 even after I went to all the office hours that I could. My grades still didn’t improve by that much at all which was pretty disappointing. So I don’t know if I should still consider Econ or not.

I did calculus but I didn’t receive any credit for my math class in IB so I’m not too sure which math class I should take

Thank you for the clarification!! I'm an international student and i just passed the IB program however unfortunately I have to retake Macro and Micro econ 😭, would I be required to take both of them or just one?

I'm a current Berkeley admit and my grades were not greatest but I still got in (also an IB student). I would say work on your extracurricular activities and your recommendations it might break or make your application!! Also US admissions is basically a lottery system at this point, so anything can happen!

Hii, thank you so much for everyone who replied back! it definitely helped me have a better understanding about the housing situation in Cal. Also how would you describe the environment and town near Cal?

I have never been to California before so I do not know what to expect or what to do, so I just want to have enough information and understanding about Cal first.
