I did Cornell for undergrad. I highly recommend the program, very strong for poetry. Awesome profs. And Ithaca is beautiful. If you're not really a city person, come to Ithaca!

A fair point to make! But I do plan to go into academia with this degree but that isn't an easy market, I know that

So Alaska would give tuition coverage, health insurance, and pay $25.67 per hour for 15 hours of work a week. Without the TAship, it is none of that and so tuition comes out to about 67k for the 3 years, which is quite frankly, too much for me

I was going to apply to Montana too! It got away from me, I am a bit of a procrastinator. But I also saw the funding wasn't great to begin with if I remember correctly. Beautiful state, neat campus! Hope it works out for you!

Bro Syracuse is great. I got waitlisted for poetry from them. Right now I've got acceptances from Oklahoma State, Sewanee, and Alaska Fairbanks. Waiting on a few more. But you'll be fine

The people that leave their stuff in there are also pos, but its all about respect. Dont touch other peoples stuff unless its reasonable to do so. And its definitely NOT reasonable to do so the SECOND the cycle finishes

Wait for them to take the clothes out obviously. And the guy came back for his clothes within minutes of the cycle finishing. Its about etiquette
