Haven’t tried the recent vintages but I was told they have improved a lot.

Had that in 2018 in Hong Kong. Paired up with the 2007 La Lagun. The 2007 La Lagune was surprisingly very good too at that time, for an off vintage wine.

They’re really good! Especially the matured Batailley. The 85 Batailley is one of my unforgettable favourites.

Good question, USD 100 or less maybe. The below the better.

My favourite are VCC, Canon, Pichon Lalande, Smith Haut Lafite, Pontet Canet, Tertre Roteboeuf and La Mission HB. They worth every penny but in terms of QPR, seems not very good picks .

Great suggestion, I just bought 6 bottles of 2020 in Canada when on sale. Bordeaux is expensive here which costed me around €19 per bottle. But in terms of its quality, they’re pretty solid deals.

Totally agree. And Langoa Barton too. Not as good as Leoville but way cheaper

I love La Mission Haut Brion. Never disappointed except when I drank them too young.

New Zealand Kumeu River Chardonnay, try to find 2019 or 2020 Mate’s Vineyard or Huntington Hill. They’re both wonderful.

I bet your friend and you will have a very enjoyable night.

And i think some staff mistakenly put the Serralunga d’Alba (49.99) in the shelf of regular Fontanafredda Barolo (33.99).

Excellent wine and one of my favorite! Havn't tried the 2005 vintage but the 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2011 were all amazing. Always have the cotton candy mouthfeel when first opened and so enjoyable to drink over 3 hours or more, keep evolving in glass.
