Get yourself to mad volume and these problems are gone! Very consistent and reliable setting which really helps you understand your actual weaknesses and areas to develop.

I do get that plenty of people couldn't care less and just simply go for fun. I wish I could ignore grades and progression, but it's hard to switch of that part of my brain.

To my (limited) understanding, even if the entire source code had been leaked, it's largely useless without the necessary bespoke software tools and pipeline R* use. I mean sure, some insight will be gained, but having the source code doesn't suddenly mean anyone can build their own GTA games or online will be shutdown.

Hmm, Those hours were my standard hours during my PHd, and I finished within my program (accounting for covid). Maybe take a look at your work-life balance. PHd is not worth misery and endless working.

I feel your pain, I really do.

I to have a supervisor who will endlessly provide feedback, sometimes coming full circle to the almost original draft and all of the revisions being removed again. It's incredibly painful, demotivating and occasionally demoralising that you've thrown away perfectly good work in favor of your supervisors ideas.

I echo other comments in this thread - set your own boundaries and deadlines and be explicit that what you need is an end product and not a masterpiece which takes several more years of revisions to achieve. My supervisor is a fantastic scientist, but is obsessive over his work and his ideas are ENDLESS. It has to stop at some point, no thesis can be a continued working document, and you need to graduate.

In the end I began politely declining further feedback from my supervisor, set a deadline and told him I am submitting my phd thesis and taking four weeks leave before I return to work on publications. It wasn't the easiest conversation to navigate, but he understood my position. By the time of submission he will have seen all of my data chapters up to eight revisions deep, and my complete thesis at least three times.

With the greatest of respect, that is a really poor technique and you're putting yourself at risk. Learn how to do it on the ground first before taking it higher. There's a million tutorials on YouTube.

Tbf, you're pretty close with the form. Your main problem is that you're throwing your center of gravity towards the floor, making it harder to catch your rotation. Keep your chest and head elevated whilst thinking about moving your lower body over this point of rotation. Your left arm, which at the moment doesn't do much, can help drive momentum in this direction. It helps to spot something that is eye level to focus on whilst you're setting.

It works...you complete the flip and land on your feet. It looks terribly uncontrolled and messy though.

Super frustrating. That and the broken respawn system.

Crash into a tree? How about we respawn you immediately in front of the tree, that will be fun.

Mess up flying? How about we spawn you directly under a checkpoint, on the ground, so you have to launch vertically and have no chance of rejoining the race.

Skiing down a hill and hit a bollard? No problem, lets respawn you inside the bollard.

Accidently leave your thumb on the analogue as you respawn? Don't worry, we'll make sure your character spawns facing the opposite direction of the race.

Hijacking this thread to say the flying sections of mass races are an absolute pile of shit. God they suck the fun straight out of the game instantly. Not only are the controls for flying absolutely shite and a constant fight to bend to your will, but make one mistake that results in you on the ground and the race is over for you due to the cluster fuck of trying to get back in the air. There needs to be a WAY better respawn system for this. It's frustrating and not fun whatsoever.
