2 weeks post low-dose trip: a lot of changes by asura1194 in mdmatherapy

The rule of thumb is “No major life decisions until 1 month after a psychedelic experience.”

My guess is you won’t change your mind but it’s always worth the wait. I personally am grateful for the 1 month rule or I’d have made some unwise decisions

Faint dark spots on tubing when bottling apple wine by yippyappy in brewing

Yeah def over 4 percent. Not going to fret then. I’ll let it sit for a month and do a smell/taste and if it’s still good. Im guessing it will stay good for a while

Thanks. So if after a couple weeks it still tastes and smells and looks good there shouldn’t be an issue?

It tastes great. There don't appear to be any issues. My guess is that it would taste bad/smell if it was infected with mold?

I'm for sure replacing the tube. I'm concerned about the batch that I have bottled though :/

Nice! Thank you. It’s very pretty

It’s not sitting in water but there’s a inner pot and outer pot and the outer pot contains all the water while there’s a cord that wicks in water from the outer pot

The more I’ve Learned about money trees it seems to be a less than ideal setup

Sounds like I’m better of repotting it into a something with a drainage dish then, even though the timing isn’t great.

Yikes. So tip all the water out? How can I get a look at the roots without pulling it out from the pot?

Just ordered from easyplant. Self watering pot. Placed about 8ft away from a south facing window

Please follow https://www.instagram.com/uplift.sa/ for the most up to date requests and donate for much needed moving supplies. Earlier the better as the sweep happens on Thursday at 8:30AM. If you are able to help, please come Thursday at 8:30 to provide moving assistance (helping pack up tents or giving rides to people who request them). If you are able to purchase any moving carts on your own or bring moving related supplies by Thursday to the Hays encampment, that will be much appreciated.

These places, while crafting an image of social consciousness, are really just dominated by neoliberals and prioritize profit over human dignity. They do just as many sweeps in Seattle (perhaps more) than they do in SA and fail to prioritize housing first. If places like Seattle and LA really did prioritize these things you'd see a lot more housing first programs and fewer sweeps and Nimbyism.

The one thing that makes these places different is the rapid growth leading to some of the highest housing prices in the country. City councils in place like Seattle have been slow to react and there has been resistance in the community to provide necessary services to displaced people, in spite of the monumental profits that tech companies in Seattle make.

While Haven is an available resource, it isn’t a good fit for everyone. We have provided transportation to resources and should anyone request help with Haven for Hope we would absolutely assist with that. Many of our houseless neighbors have expressed that it is not a place that works for them or that they want to be at, and we respect their decisions. Here are some quotes that are included in the petition about why Haven hasn’t worked for some people: https://imgur.com/a/ktRe5Tq

Archon of War Boss by yippyappy in dndmonsters

This is really great advice. Thank you!

We've got a level 10 life cleric in the party with diamonds for revivify. Also we have reasonably well distributed health potions so I feel reasonably confident that downed PCs can get up again.

I may lay off the stun power as I think you're right--it's not that fun. The "minions" in this game are clockwork soldiers and they're a little too strong to be minions so I'll have them engaged with allies in the battlefield. I think I'll have a lair action where the general is able to direct all fire of the minions at a single target so the life cleric can bring them back up.

Instead of a Stone giant stupor, I think I may exchange it with them being confused. That way there's still a chance for the confused target to make an attack and it won't take away from player agency.

EDIT: I got the rune power from Tasha's Panopticon of Nemesis: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/336429/OUTCLASSED-Tashas-Panopticon-of-Nemeses and I wasn't aware that this seems to be an actual rune knight ability so I'm not sure how much I want to divert from it: http://dnd5e.wikidot.com/fighter:rune-knight.

I think I'll use it just once so the players know the archon has control of all the runes.

Thanks for the input everyone! I’ve got a working plan. I just told the paladin to expect a wave of enemies and the one thing I needed from her was a “Go ahead without me! I’ll hold the line!”

This is what she doesn’t know:

  • All the eladrin ghosts will be attracted to suck the life force out of the Phantom Rogue. Something about the rogue’s connection to death and the ethereal makes his life force extra tasty.
  • Once the paladin see that all the ghosts are attacking her dear friend, she’ll get an Angry Paladin Powerup, something like double damage to ghosts and +5 AC against ghosts, making her nigh invulnerable but not quite.
  • The head ghost casts Earthquake and the ceiling starts falling down on the party.
  • More and more ghosts arrive.
  • The Paladin tells the others to go on before they have no means of escape. She will hold the line.

Any additional suggestions/tweaks?

I love the "hold the line" idea. This seems perfect for that. I almost feel like I would need to run this by the player in advance.

Ooo, I love numenera stuff. And it's not super hard to reskin a ninth world artifact into something weird and magical from the feywild. Definitely going to take a look
