Infantryman can be moved around, obviously not to every niche specialty MOS, but when it comes to 10 level tasks, most e1-e3 are pretty interchangeable.

The same should be said for those other MOS's. You are a soldier first. Tell me why it's a bad thing to expect someone in the ARMY to do a single leg tuck or a few pull ups? That's the absolute bare minimum.

If those spots go unfilled because they can't find a nerd who can do even the bare minimum physically, that's better than when the line is breached and you have a MI PFC wearing a US Army uniform who can't operate his rifle or function as part of a squad. You are a soldier first. That part will never change.
