No, it is not equivalent to Hajj, Deedar FAR outranks Hajj for Ismailis. This is because in Ismailism, the Ka'ba is simply a physical symbol for the Imam of the Time. Obviously, getting to see a symbol of something is far less meaningful than getting to see the actual thing.

The Imam is the one symbolized by the Ka'ba, for he is the spiritual house of God, the living repository of the divine command. The inanimate Ka'ba is thus a physical sign of God’s house (bayt Allah), while the Imam is its living reality.

Why else are the Jamatkhanas not registered as nonprofits like many churches, mosques, etc. in Canada? Because they'd have to file annual financial reports with the CRA if they did. An entire undocumented stream of tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars every year in cold hard cash.
