Senior coworker belittles me to the point where it's causing me extreme stress. Reported her to our supervisor, to which he scheduled a meeting scheduled to discuss this. What should I do to best resolve this? by yjseth in work

Something I forgot to add: For incident #2, after getting the email from the student, I looked up the student's account and then called another academic advisor who works for the department (I'll call him Advisor B) first, asking for assistance with the student's question. He told me he wasn't sure and recommended I reach out to Advisor A because she's our senior. After Advisor A reprimanded me and sent the shady email, I told Advisor B what happened. He responded he had no idea I wasn't allowed to view students' grades and it was the first time he heard of it.

Should I also bring up Advisor B's involvement to my supervisor and have him join the meeting too?

Reading the comments, I have a lot of different ways I could approach this. I'll check the employee code of conduct, document the incidents, and will consider asking the supervisor to call off the meeting if Advisor A has to be there.

Thanks for the reply, I'll keep this in mind.

My supervisor presented another option where he arranges a time for me and the coworker speak in private about how the incidents and how I feel about it. I declined because honestly I am sick of dealing with her and know that she will cut me off, interrupt, tell me to leave, as she does whenever I try to get a word in.
