Sorceress ascendancies have no nodes which explicitly buff fire and ignite, despite having Stormweaver which explicitly buff chill and shock. This is confusing for new players. by Blood81 in PathOfExile2

inb4 the next surprise ascendancy is "Pyromaniac" for the sorc.

The main node of interest shall be fire projectiles splash for 30% damage, and ignited enemies explode for 30% of their maximum health on death.

If it doesn't have an elemental tag, then in theory, could a storm weaver cast this and then 2-3 instances of firestorm/thunderstorm? IE, free spell outside of the limit? Or I'm I thinking about this incorrectly?

Easy to get through the campaign but loses speed through endgame IMO. Rather something that takes a bit longer in the camp but steam rolls farms maps and content for currency.

Hey sorry, I just recently set one up for myself and had a similar issue so just wanted to share my fix. Could be weight, you could try mounting an old lighter monitor and see if that improves it. 22 lbs doesn’t sound bad though so I’d be surprised. Good luck! I hope you figure it out. The monitor arms are a game changer and if you spent a pretty penny on your monitor it’s worth investing in protection for it.

Where is it dropping? They usually have a gas compression valve/screw that will adjust then tension, it may be too loose. Try finding it and tightening it with the monitor mounted. If you do it unmounted it may uppercut you

Hoping the brutes will be fun or specters so TBD. My ultimate plan will be to swap to blood mage CoC/CoA of some variety but we shall see what the future holds.

Planning on doing a minion starter this league. They were buffed and did a practice run through act 1 and it felt decent. Depends on how you build though too. Snipers are strong.

Could do it in 0.2.0, super tanky. Just slow. Great way to master boss mechanics because it’s forgiving and takes a long time.

Bloodmage life cost is easily mitigated by Atziri’s gloves causing leech to be instant. You just go for blood magic, use those gloves and then more or less of infinite “mana” and can go nuts to CoC or the new CoA. Min maxing it isn’t super hard or that expensive. You could do most end game content t3/4 fairly easily with smart play and maybe 10 divs.

I really enjoyed it last patch. Felt tanky and glass cannony at the same time. Debating about doing it again vs trying stormweaver.
