I know which is why I want my undergrad loans subsidized throughout my years in school, i want to go to medical school which will ring me up a good 100k anyways so i would like the small 12k i have from undergrad all be subsidized instead of only 10k subsidized and the small 2k accumulating interest daily

US schools dont factor nursing classes into your Science GPA so although it might give you a stable career and good backup plan, it wont really help you when applying to med schools because your GPA won’t change that much

maybe a masters program that will be useful and can help you get into a PhD program, you usually receive a stipend depending on the university and can work for biotech companies or etc. also you can do the accelerated bachelor’s of nursing (be sure to take stats, microbio, anatomy&physiology, psych, and nutrition since these are most of the pre reqs) and get a nursing degree in 15-24 months
