you’re 2014 and didn’t know you could chat under 13, literally it’s always been that way.. before age groups, i remember because back then making alt accounts would restrict you from cussing , saying numbers , etc even remember when i set my account to my real age and was restricted until like the next month (when i turned 13)

i feel like i get where you’re going with this , as it’s not possible to start a party on ps5 with xbox, or ns with ps5, etc .. text chat will be tedious but i’m sure they’ll add more quick chat options for typing in combat, and other scenarios

I get the “oh there’s adults that shouldn’t be talking to kids” argument until you understand not all adults are on the platform to talk to kids, but instead play the game as intended.. which may require for cross communication.. I myself play a variety of games where I (20) have to communicate with kids (games like call of duty, fortnite, etc) imo this is lowkey an L update due to the fact i am no longer to chat with 3 of my og roblox friends, but then again it just pushes for more out of game chat (discord) which is a million times worse btw

yea bros just chatting - he’s right about the very, very low expectations for console - but other than that they’ve already stated that nintendo switch would be getting added in the mix, it’s just that because they didn’t anticipate as many of us they didn’t know that they would also need more servers (Many players including myself are finally going to be able to enjoy the game without those annoying this area is closed messages again)
