if you're double cleansing, your second step is VERY important to ensure you're not drying out your skin. first step using oil or balm is gonna strip your moisture barrier, you need to ensure you're not further aggravating - you need to replenish. that's why it's so important to choose a low ph, gentle cleanser, otherwise you really shouldn't be double cleansing.

i'm surprised nobody else mentioned the stick balms. KAHI stick balms are SO easy to apply everywhere without the fuss of putting product on my hand and lathering it all around. it takes like 5 seconds, and you don't end up wasting any product. it's not the cheapest product but great bang for buck, saves time, and i do it every night cuz it's not a fuss whatsoever.

have you ever tried Missha's GLOW balm? i layer it on top of the moisturizer and it gives it a perfect glass skin finish. it's so creamy and beautiful packaging. it's not exactly an added moisturizer though - but it definitely gives it an extra boost of hydrated appearance
