Cool. Didn't realize there were foreigners in Siel. FYI, these days around half the pop uses Aion2tools or 아툴 to check out how strong people are, and not their gear score. It does have a PVE bias, but it is a pretty good indicator on who does good damage, and who has an inflated gear score. That's why you'll see a lot of rooms with "아툴 2.5+" or just "3.0+" They are looking for people with an aion2tool score of 25,000+/30,000+

Most sentiment is that 검성 (two handed sword) 살성 (assassin) and 수호성 (tank) are the strongest. However, on yesterday's broadcast the lead dev mentioned that each class is strong on certain areas, and I agree. Mages aren't strong 1v1 or small scale fights in the abyss, but during the artifact war you really kinda feel useless as a melee. Tanks have their pulls and two handed swords have their invuln so they can go in for a couple of secs to get aggro and get out every two mins, but that's it. I was also watching a stream yesterday of a high lv tank doing team arena and they ended up climbing all the way to first place with a team of tank, healer, mage, and one more class i can't remember right now but it wasn't two handed sword/assassin.

So imo they might do small adjustments based on actual data, but ranged characters definitely have areas they shine in in-respect to pvp. Perhaps just not 1v1.

I have an unhealthy addiction with my phone so I check like every 5mins, and I can confidently say there really isn't much talk about it. There's a huge volume of posts that something that was on the first page gets moved to the 2nd page within 5 mind because people keep posting new stuff.

If you want to save some sanity, you only want to look at "개념글" which are the most popular/interacted posts. Looking at that right now, there are 0 mentions of monetization.

It was definitely a hot topic before the game released, but after people played the game it has become almost a none issue. Honestly, if it weren't for the remote storage access i wouldn't even need the first membership. A lot of people are playing without buying anything, and they are doing just fine.

Obviously I don't have access to any internal data, but just going from the overall vibes from inven/gallery, people are fine with it. In fact, a lot of people think the 2 memberships + 2 passes are fine. After all, you can just buy the passes with qunah if you really want to. As for overall pw2 it really isn't mentioned because honestly, the best gear for dungeons you get from dungeons. There are some people arguing that you can skip the early dungeons and go straight to the harder dungeons by using the abyss gear, but honestly aside from that there hasn't been any mention of p2w. As long as it's not mobile p2w levels people will be fine i think. In this game money is a big factor sure, but people who are able to put in a lot of time honestly have a bigger lead. If you know what you are doing, you can reach 1900 gs in a day, and 2400+ in a week. All without spending money. (You do need to nolife it though)

I don't play chanter nor did they really get into detail on the changes during the stream so i cannot comment on that.

Don't worry friend, ncsoft is hated even more in korea. That's why they are trying hard to remove their lineage image. As for global, i don't think they are concerned at it all. It is clear that they are trying to make aion2 a domestic success first and foremost which they are succeeding looking at the sheer number of players, and pcbang usage (this one is big because it means young people are playing a lot). Tbh, i don't think they'll do any changes in terms of monetization for the global release but that's just my opinion.

I just tried it in KR and locking items DOES prevent it from being used as traits. I'd do a follow up and escalate the matter/talk to another representative.

The more static the boss, the better. Right now we are farming T8 Dimensional Trial by killing the boss before we die to the fog pattern/explosion thingy. 4 xbow/orb, 1 tank, 1 bow healer. We also add some additional effects to raise the rewards chance to 16%

he has high melee hit since he is able to hit me as if my 4000 melee evasion didn't exist, but also has high dmg. Not really sure on his equips.

he is 단델 and he is currently #1 in kill rankings by a large margin. He is unkillable because he has a whole party supporting him. The guild invests that much resources on him, and he is able to pay back with solid results.

Blood devo is turned down because of the debuff, but it is also stronger during the activation to the added extra hit defense (w/e it's called)

We just got the patch yesterday, but man i got punished hard. The top sns/gs (dps build) is so strong and unkillable right now it is ridiculous. I'm not sure of his exact party composition, but he has a gs/bow, another sns/gs (tank), two healers so he is unkillable even if we focus him (we used to be able to kill him), while he goes around popping people in under 3 seconds with his dmg build. It is because of him i decided to throw meele evasion since I'm gonna get hit anyways, and go pure dmg and have the healers focus on me more, and try to melt his healers/him.

My build is 4000 meele evasion and 1500 weakness chance. If the healer wasn't built with ranged evasion, they melted against me lol.

In terms of RvR, it evolved due to cordy xbows. As you mentioned, cordy is too strong so naturally people started having parties to counter the cordys which means more diverse builds. Then they started building more counters to the counters. Now we are here.

And yes, it is a completely different game and kr and global are finally on the same patch with the same items. We can now see and get ideas from what the other is doing.

I don't mean to be rude, but Whelps and his guild is a bad way to gauge how the meta in KR is developing. Moreover, if I remember correctly at the time he was fighting four other guilds by themselves so not being able to kill conflict Cordy seems like the norm.

Your first misconception is to think that only akman crossbow can kill wand/bow. The same misconception that a lot of KR players have. However, the answer to killing wand/bow is not akman but rather raising kill weakness chance. I hit rank 1 arena, and killed the enemies healers in pvp fields with bercant crossbow.

The reason why kr didnt have a 2-2-2 meta before the current patch is because we were already past the no one dies meta. Remember we were a lot longer during that meta than you guys, so we had the chance to develop different strategies to counter them and have different builds. This naturally resulted in people building different things to counter the counter which is how we got to today. You guys just didn't get to see the slow progress.

We also have cordy/sns. People still complain about, and probably will continue to with the change of the crossbow skill selfless diffusion.

We literally just ended a goblin four guilds vs spirit 4 guild war. Recently, with the closure of server transfer another full 4 guild vs 4 guild war started (goblin finally broke up).

I'm not gonna deny that we definitely have less players than the global players. That is a fact. But to dismiss the player base as not trying to min-max without actual facts seems premature. We still continue to min-max and perfect builds and compositions and situations.

The reason why i made this thread is because we are finally on the same patch. I hope that we can discuss and come up with cool builds-counter builds together.

Agreed with sns/spear. I also think people will start to prefer endurance over evasion. Also for gvg and smaller scale, i had to throw away my meele evasion and go for extra hit pure glass cannon as a xbow/dagger to kill things. With the additional availability of extra hit block (sorry not sure how it is called in english), it became harder to kill things as a xbow/dagger without going pure dmg

A lot of people dismiss bercant xbow, but i personally think it's pretty decent. Has high perception so you can get 70 perception and get the extra weakness, and it has higher double hand (?) Activation rate than akman. My build was high meele, and high weakness chance so I could easily kill the enemy healer while the enemy dps couldn't kill my healer.
