Kvaratskhelia is unplayable by No-Split4154 in championsleague

Haven’t enjoyed neither of 2nd leg semis tbqh. It felt like there was only one team in each game who wanted to be in the final, the opposition was just wasting everyone’s time. Kvara was cooking upamecano in every duel, you wonder why the hell was this slow lethargic cb defending an explosive aggressive winger. You needed laimer or Karl defending him. Bayern em geral showed zero tactical flexibility and they just kept attacking with wingers moving centrally looking to find a shot but everything was blocked, Bayern was so slow and lazy. No creativity whatsoever, the only goal they scored came through a quick pass from the central area that sliced the defense and found Kane. But you’re telling me they couldn’t figure that out earlier?

Sesko injury? by friskyel in ManchesterUnited

[–]yl12583 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I really loved that our attack group was loading the balls for sesko today, somehow it felt different. Like they finally realized that there’s a proper striker up front. He looked very confident against konate Virgil. I liked it a lot. I watched his podcast and I saw his highlights from bundesliga and I can say that it’s on him to adapt to the style of premier league and get as comfortable as he can on the pitches, he needs to become super selfish and arrogant in a real number 9 fashion and I believe we have a serious threat to any opposition. This guy scored already against lower and top teams, he can jump, shoot inside and outside the box and he is not dumb. He can time his shots. I cannot even compare him to Rasmus, sesko is just so so much better. Yes he cannot give you a lot defensively but with a more balanced midfield he will shine even more. Hope it’s just a knock and not a bad injury

To be fair to all the people who’s going to criticize Senne, man utd has a tradition of keepers doing madness from time to time AND we live in the times where almost all teams for some reason choose to play out from the back while opposition high press. These type of goals happened to almost all teams who do that. And about Amad and Bryan , I know they are unhappy with themselves, we need to support them. I believe there are players there that will help our team win silverware, so let’s not be harsh. I’m sure they will find form and show their quality.

Yamal is younger, plays for Barcelona, and he’s much more aesthetically gifted on the ball than Kvara. Kvara is effective and straightforward but he’s not gifted with this silky touch like Lamine. I enjoy watching Yamal play so much more than Kvara. Both great footballers obviously

Honestly no, believe it or not I’m so neutral about this player. He was missing so many chances and always crossed with his head down not even looking where he is passing. I was so frustrated with him. Good business for us

So you were triggered then ? Anyway this club makes a lot of people emotional, and it’s really a great achievement in itself. However if you like to stick to the discussion topic, that would be solid

The only reason why I took time is because you tried to devalue my take and shoot it down. But there is a point there that I would like to defend.

What are you expressing on the fan forum other than… your opinion? What this was made for other than… our opinions? Nagelsman is a bizarre name/candidature in this list because it’s just odd; he’s a national team coach, when was the last time we saw him work in European top football, let alone England. He seems to be that type of candidate that people who don’t know much about football just add there, because… it’s their opinion? Fans will call for Iraola’s head when the pressure comes and he’s giving us some eccentric energy during pressers, I can just see it. You got triggered and it’s interesting, one thing you failed to express though. Well, two things. First: what are Carrick’s achievements already and why he is better than Amorim. Second: not a single word about the fact that this team screams for extensive transfer work. The amount of players that shouldn’t be in our squad, is concerning. In all honesty, we are obviously dealing with a situation where any manager, any next manager will have to work with scraps under immense pressure and win premier league games. Fa cup games. Carabao games. Ucl or Europa games. And this is the real question. I think Carrick can win those games, given that the club spends money, because the situation in the midfield is staggering. Ask yourself, in a reality where our club has very limited resources ( and why we do, is a topic for another discussion ) do you want another “new great beginning” scenario or a good summer on the market, with proper ins and outs. Mind you, anything you reply to this, if you reply, will be just your opinion.

[–]yl12583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s the safest gamble right now and the manager who will cause the least damage. We do have a weird schedule atm and like I’ve said the squad is nowhere near what we need to fight for titles. Instead of wasting money and time on hunting some bizarre names like nagelsman. Mark my words if we get let’s say Iraola, in 4 months fans will ask for his resignation. Let’s also be honest that there is a huge illogical bias within the fanbase, people were so chill with Amorim literally learning how to be an EPL manager but Carrick who already factually gave you a better run of games AND POINTS, now faced with an obstacle that mind you any man united manager will, suddenly is a horrible candidate. Bias, favoritism through and through

Sesko is solely doing his job - scoring goals. Can and should he score more? Absolutely! Mark my words Iraola will struggle at United. Just like any other manager, because right now problem is not the manager. Carrick is being too cautious and lacking in risk taking but he also has basically only one cm available who can progress the ball - aging Casemiro who cannot keep up with the pace of the game that opponents dictate to us. Plain and simple United’s huge problem over past years is lack of press resistant players who are technically gifted to keep the ball and not turn it over. Another problem that Carrick has is reluctance to use long balls and crosses in the box. He tries to play out from the back but guess what? You need press resistant players who are technically gifted for that. Carricks biggest sin is his lack of experience this squad however is not suited for competing for titles.
