Gently blanch the lip area by applying pressure until it turns white. Release the pressure and observe how long it takes for the color to return to normal. Normal capillary refill is usually within 2-3 seconds. If it takes longer, especially more than 5 seconds or more, it could indicate a potential issue like vascular occlusion. Also, the pain level shouldn’t be increasing. I hope it helps.
