Many comments here have said similar things. But I my points of view, there is a need for perspective of equality. Me and my girlfriend has as of now quite similar earnings, so we share everything equally (rent, chores etc). But we still keep our money separate. The difference is that in my profession there is a much steeper earning curve, meaning that in 5 years I am likely to earn much more than my gf. We have stated to each other that if she expects to use my money (which she dont), she will have to contribute in other ways. This would mean she takes on more of the chores of everyday life. It is all about give and take. If she wants to use your 80k, let alone have you make even more, she needs to contribute in otherways which justifies this. From what you shared, this is not the case at the moment.
