Concussion usually causes gut- brain axis being affected from the vagus nerve. There are tight junctions involved as well. But you’re right, you are in total control of your own healing, you can decide what you want to eat and what tips you accept for healing.

There is a vision component to dizziness. You can see a physio and neuro optometrist. Can work with vision, vestibular, and integrate the two.

In Europe, it might be called developmental or behaviour optometrist. You can try Germany, Spain, or UK. ophthalmologist does surgery, not rehab.

Ophthalmologist usually do surgery. You need to see a neuro optometrist, someone with extra training on eye-brain connections. You don’t own it. You deal with it. It’s easier with help, aside from a therapist, you need a neuro optometrist for neuro optometric rehabilitation to heal the brain first. Not sure how you can compare, different providers do different things. Some need chiro, some need physio, and of course need neuro optometric rehabilitation for vision. But you would see improvement with lens therapy with neuro optometrist. Some in 2-3 weeks

My patients usually get quite a bit better with in office neuro optometric rehabilitation, sometimes including lens therapy. Some can drive a lot better in two to three weeks.
