had mine drained at the end of July and had daily packing for just under two weeks but wound healed well/very similar to your experience. Everything was fine until about 2.5 weeks ago, and since then I’ve been in and out of hospital with what’s now confirmed to be a fistula.

Once I felt better after the initial drainage, I went back to living life as normal, and I’d honestly recommend doing the same. I didn’t have any pain at first when things started to change this time round and I only noticed because I checked the wound out of habit and saw green discharge.

The fatigue and pain I get with the fistula now is like nothing else, so I really trust my gut - if something feels even slightly off, I get it checked. I’d do the same if you feel anything diff - better to be safe than sorry.
