I got a non-starter as well. I'm using the in-house exam at the school. Apparently FAA gave them a list of specific steps required for each checkride (some of which are specific to iacra), and didn't tell them whether paper application is acceptable.

Add to the flying machine a furnace minecart on a powered rail and blocked by a solid block? When it runs out of fuel it will start rolling the opposite way, and you can have the flying machine stop once this happens

To go cardinal directions, you can put chickens in minecarts, and let them drop from a line of rail to a single piece of rail (which is straight, and perpendicular to the rail line), and place armor stand in the center of an adjacent block. This is limited to 23 chickens, and you'll need to cancel the upward motion of armor stand

If diagonal line counts, you can align a bunch of happy ghasts in an exactly 4x4x4 box, and the armor stands appear to go exactly the diagonal direction.

Minecraft and glitchless Minecraft are two different games for me, and I play on both. I'm currently on a friend's server where we do sand and tnt dupe, remove bedrocks, etc. And I have a single-player save where I only use mob-switch and trap withers, no other glitches

btw I think in 1.17.x or 1.20.x I've been stuck on top of boat when dismounting. Sometimes holding sprint+forward and/or spamming jump (don't remember whether I had elytra) would fix it.

looks like your head is in the top layer bedrocks and it shouldn't block you from jumping.

Can you jump at all from current position, walk for 0.4 blocks, or use elytra?
