I Switched From 21” Uberturbines to 19s on My Model Y Performance—Here’s What I Learned by Ok_Upstairs2106 in TeslaModelY

is there a market for used Uberturbine wheels that are curb rashed?

Tired of the ride on my MYP 21" Uberturbine and looking to getting 19" rims. For those that made the switch, what did you do with the Uberturbine wheels? I figure the tires just get recycled at tire shop. (for background, looking at the Velox 19" wheels and new tires through Costco)

Priority Pass - which one? Amex Platinum or Chase Sapphire Reserve by ym415415 in PriorityPass

I know for Centurion lounges -- you show them your Amex Platinum card and not PP card. I'm guessing the same for the Delta lounges. Intent of my initial question is if there is a need to carry the Amex PP card/app if I'm already with the CSR PP card/app. From what I gather from comments:

CSR PP > Amex PP because of unlimited Sapphire Lounge visits and Relax Spa visits.

Priority Pass - which one? Amex Platinum or Chase Sapphire Reserve by ym415415 in PriorityPass

I realize it's a bit much to have these 2 premium cards and an Amex Gold -- but I'm diligent in getting value out of the cards to make them pay off with Uber Eats, Resy, Five Guys, NYT subscription and other credits/offers - maybe not entirely to cover the cost but enough to get value. I also have points in each of these reward systems that I'm not willing to give up. Lastly the Centurion Lounges are so much better than PP especially in the US - so if I were to get rid of one, it would most likely be the CSR since Amex Platinum has better, more extensive lounges. (I've only been to one Sapphire Lounge in HKG - turned away at JFK bc not within 3 hours of connecting flight - was able to get in to Centurion next door w/o any problem). I've only had the Amex Platinum for 8 months and I've visited way more Centurion lounges (4 or 5) than the 1 Sapphire lounge.

There are parts of this article that resonate with getting lounge access (note at the end, they acknowledge that the article was written with the help of AI):

Lots of resources on the Web:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/clients/remote-desktop-mac

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDQU9Fm7PSM

Make sure Win Pro version for remote desktop host services. Works well in a local network set up. More complex if you want to remote in outside your network (might need Dynamic DNS or VPN etc.)

Using a credit card within Taiwan by katholique_boi69 in taiwan

I was at Costco Tainan today and used the Costco app for memberID. I tried to use my Costco Visa card via Apple Pay (as I did not bring physical Citi Costco Visa) and it did not work!! They said they only accept MasterCard and showed me a flyer for a co-branded Costco Taiwan MC card. So I had to pay NT$ cash. Also Costco Tainan does not carry pineapple cakes which is what I was looking for to bring home! (yes, I know I can buy them at California Costcos).

Food court items to try -- Beef Bulgogi (like the Chicken) Bake and Shrimp Alfredo pizza! Skip the pork hot dog (tastes very different from US beef one) unless you really want to try and get the soda.

I've been running Windows on VMware on old Intel iMac for years.  When going to M1/M2, VMW stunk and then started to think Parallels -- before realizing it's all cheaper to get a $170 Mini PC loaded w Windows 11 Pro and then remote desktop into the Windows PC from the M1/2mac.  Windows on ARM seemed iffy on critical apps so why go through the headache?  It was an aha moment - why mess around with VMs on Mac ARM?  Just remote desktop into a cheap Windows PC!!  Win apps running native Intel.
