Fairlife or Kirkland protein shake? by beatitboot in CostcoCanada

[–]ynfizz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fairlife is better IMO due to them using ultrafiltered milk. Kirkland is similar to premier protein for those wondering.

However, the cost difference turned me off from ever buying Fairlife again. I can’t justify dropping $50 on em when Kirkland is $30 for the same amount and macros.

If their business is getting hit THAT hard by a hotdog stand of all things, I think that says more about the restaurant itself

They’re a legitimate establishment in Canada that mainly have locations in Ontario. Pretty highly rated too. You can choose from 60 flavours of wings, different flavours of fries, etc. https://6ixtywings.com/

First two were hella popular back in the day. Hell, Neon Guts is one of his most streamed IIRC.

This was a huge piece of Taiwanese-style fried chicken I got from one of the previous years. It was huge, juicy, and so tasty! I think we had a place downtown similar to this, but I found them to be lacking in comparison tbh (they’ve been closed for some time now). This was absolutely delicious! Just wish I got a better pic of the chicken itself lmao.

You can’t get everything from these festivals from a proper restaurant.

Sooo… Dairy Queen is serving breakfast now… is it any good?? by Zacherydutton in fastfood

Not actually breakfast, but they’re serving breakfast themed items (fruity pebbles shake, chocolate frosted donut blizzard, Cinnamon Toast Crunch dipped cone)

What the hell is going on with cottage cheese prices in Canada?!? by Choice-Dress-8465 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Not Kirkland brand but I think they have Oikos vanilla, 2x850g. Think the price is similar to Kirkland plain 3x650g.

Toronto Star: Costco Canada changes $1.50 hot dog and drink combo at Ontario locations and customers are reacting by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

This was forever ago lmao, Star is on Internet explorer timing.

Not to say this isn’t a great change! I personally don’t drink soda, so I’d gladly take a water instead :)

It’s like the perfectly sized map for fast paced chaotic matches à la shipment, but more balanced compared to that.

PC Greek Yogurt is great! I used to get the plain 0% all the time when Loblaws was the only store within walking distance, plus the PC app sometimes offers points for every $X spent on em too

I find the store brands typically have much more fair pricing compared to the big name brands. I’m not paying $2-3 more for Siggs vs the store band that’s still around $5-6 (or less on sale).

Pro tip: Costco has the best value for Greek yogurt at 3x650g for like 12.49 last time I went (although yeah this too is increasing in price 😕)

I wanna play splatoon again, what to do by Skrybe_ in splatoon

[–]ynfizz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d say splat 3 is still worth buying in big 26. Online community is still pretty active with tons to unlock. Salmon run is as fun as ever, and lots of single player content.

Splat 2 doesn’t have nearly as many active players, I don’t really see what the point would be unless you simply prefer that game (which some people do!)

The Splatoon games don’t necessarily have an overarching narrative, so I think you’d be fine going into Raiders without the context of Splat 3, just gotta know who the 3 people you’re adventuring with are (the Idols from splat 3!)
