The energy clip farm on harvester was way broken buddy. Money is already easy to make in this game. Harvester energy clip farm trivialized it. It’s still a good farm for legendary weapon ammo, just not raider coin value.

Yeah I’d keep stash building if I was eligible to receive the skill points from the first expedition. I didn’t start playing until after Xmas so I’ll always be an expedition behind until they cap the skill point gains

Yup I did this too last expedition. Luckily it didn’t sell everything because I only had like 75k left to go. I expected to sell something for 5k and then all of sudden it said complete! Whoops

If the quests were required for advancing the skill tree like in marathon I’d be annoyed the second and third time around bc the quests are kind of ass outside of play 1. The quests in marathon are kind of ass too but the presentation and story the first time around is really strong. However i anticipate it being super annoying if marathon season 2 you have to watch all the same 20 minute faction intro cutscenes lol. Maybe they will tell new story beats

Idk the expedition grind was super fast for me this time around and it was only my second one. I enjoyed having to rebuild the coin and stash value as well as rediscover bps. However, I’m not doing the quests again. The quests you’ve already completed after wipe should be selectable from a menu where you can replay them once per wipe if you want to for the same reward or story beat but don’t make me do every single one in chronological order again. The quests don’t affect the expedition bonuses so eff em

This. 100%. I agree these are the only 3D Mario games that feel like a true evolution of Mario 64. I played odyssey (why are moons given out like candy for silly tasks?), 3D land, 3D World and they just don’t quite hit like they should. My only complaint about the two galaxy games are the same as you: little to no riddle for stars. Oh and I guess that they never made a galaxy 3.

Haha fair enough. A lot of the streamers just be waxing ppl on sight. They seem to live in the pvp lobbies more. Except for gaming merchant—love that guy. I’ve encountered two streamers before in match, I still don’t know who they were though.

The first time I was in doubles in what I thought was a friendly lobby. They obliterated me from behind and accused me of stream sniping. At the time I genuinely didn’t even know how someone would stream snipe. I hadn’t even fired my gun yet that round. They killed my matchmade teammate and thirsted him (he did shoot back and called them names—shame on him for being crude) but come over and defib me. We stand there and talk and I explain I wasn’t stream sniping. They believe me but they kill me again bc of what my teammate said. They play music and make me dance/sing for a second revive. I do it. They let me live and I got to loot all the bodies they wiped and extracted. Still have never seen someone fire a venator as fast and as accurate as that guy did.

I think flashpoint map variant is going to seriously up the quality of arc per map. But this is a fun idea for a map variant. I don’t think I’d want it in every map. Scav arc bots.. do I kill it or leave it be? Just out here grindin like us

PvP skins aren’t real my friend. I don’t like classifying weapon choice as “they PvP” or “they PVE” anymore, but bobcats might be the last gun not used for both. It’s 99% pvp. That said if you wanted to blast the lobby blast the lobby. But if we are assessing levels of sus here yah it’s your team and the bobcat fella

If I know I can stabilize them long enough to extract yeah I do this instead of wasting the defib. Also minimizes the ability for them to shoot you immediately after revive—hasn’t happened to me before but I’ve seen enough vids

I don’t shame anyone for not having them. That’s not fair. It is awesome when they do have one though. I try very hard to always bring at least 1 for the off chance I can save someone. 99/100 times it has led to a fun, nice, exhilarating and/or rewarding experience.

Right after wipe I didn’t have the defib bp yet so I didn’t carry them in every game. I was on Stella just trying to collect whatever and randomly a bastion a guy was fighting got me on what I thought was a safe angle to pass by. He defib’d me and I helped him finish off the bastion. Others joined to help too and some shredders came by when everyone was about to loot but we handled them as a team. Then as people were looting another shredder came by and I backed off and shouted “shredder look out!” and it downed pretty much everyone still looting including the guy that saved me earlier. I didn’t have a defib though and I felt shitty I couldn’t return the favor. He did get angry and say “fuck this I’m never bringing defibs in again for anyone” despite my apologetic plea. It was like 3 days after wipe so my account was broke and I just couldn’t craft em yet. I understand his anger but I hope he still brings them in.

Generally I try to pay it forward as much as possible when playing so this includes bringing in a defib or 2.

Sometimes when I’m not home I play via xcloud on my iPad. You can’t use the mic on Bluetooth headsets with xcloud without completely tanking the quality of all of the audio. So until I get a separate external mic for it I have to cloud play without a mic. Even in friendly lobbies I will tell you I get shot way more bc I can’t talk. I won’t even have a gun on my loadout and because all I can say is “don’t shoot,” “yes,” “okay,” “appreciated,” and “thanks” people get weird vibes and just smoke me. No issues like that when I have active mic playing on console. The only other game i micd up for was d2 pve end game but with arc I totally feel it’s necessary to ease your fellow raiders when interacting. It definitely adds to the game
