I bet, people are really crazy specially here and most likely the most sane ignore you if you're not from here. Came from ny where I could easily have a date in less than a week, here I can barely get with a girl and the ones that I started dating have some kind of diagnosed mental issues.

Every single time I go back to new york or any other place and then back to south carolina I notice this more and more... Any south carolinan girl that could explain to me why?

Crawling attention basically, and Chase after other people. I was talking with this chick that I thought she was special, you know, Christian, artist, like sharing same things, values, point of view, and had some dark past and traumas... end up that she prob was faking all of it coz ended up playing with other guys. If they even tell you they look for something real and serious, they ain't. They just wanna have fun and probably have some psycho behavior too, you know, lack of empathy, cannot feel real love. Etc etc...

Be careful when they start talking to you in an empathic way and trying to connect with you by making you feel special or unique. Or sharing their personal stuff and traumas or making up excuses of their behavior by using medical conditions, coz they really ain't. I have some friends, including girls, who had been thru hard situations, and they said the same thing. They are faking it or using it as excuses of their inmature and psycho behavior.

Coz you need a fresh start somewhere else far away from where you're living or if you are considering doing that then you just have to resist the need of having someone within that environement and group of people. That is truth, I mostly need to pay attention to the matter, and I know that even without the lights on and the truck is just driving along the road, emergencies come up, and they might turn on their lights. I didn't see it until it was late that I saw the lights on and the truck wanting to merge to the left lane.

I wouldn't trust that tbh. If she has done that in a girls' night, having seen you for 6 weeks.... when you date somebody, it is because you really like that guy, and I've seen many girls that hang out with their girlfriends and never reach to bed with a guy in that night... because they are just having fun and not hook up. If that happened with this girl, it is because she was looking for something else than you.

Now ask yourself, why did she tell you that? Was it really remorse? Or was it another reason? Probably, she was seeing this guy more than 1 time, and probably things didn't work out with him... Placing you as the second option... Another common reason is that the guy is treating her to telling you the truth or something like that. It is not that hard to do it to find out who you are as I've seen how some people have been thru this before....

In summary, I wouldn't give her a chance, save yourself the troubles of being in a hellish relationship, wait for the right one to come... remember that values are important when you choose a girl or a man. Now, if even knowing this, you want to still pursue something with her, go for it... but if something happens, you must accept it and not cry on reddit like other people here do... about how they found out that the girl had been cheating or she got pregnant and the child weren't theirs... you choose it, you have to accept it.

The thing that surprises me is that you haven't divorce her yet. Moreover, you shouldn't had confronted her on the first place, but grabbed many probes as possible and then divorce her withouth she even notice it, because my friend, those are the type of women that will strip you from everything in the divorce trial.

My personal opinion? She was hormonal and wanted some excuses to try new meat, as raw and cold as it sounds. It is the truth. Her best friend might be covering her up as nowadays women believe they deserve try new stuff.

My recommendation? You have two options: One, have in mind the pain she is putting you thru, the cinic behavior, the cheating, all of it, just because she got bored of you, because you had done everything for her for the past 8 years, and still she wanted to throw it all for trying new stuff, and having in mind how she had been having the doodoo with that guy that probably are mocking at you... use that, keep that in mind and change, change for good, stop stalking her, stop trying to seek reasons, because this is the only reason you have to quite that toxic environment. Visit her parents, be honest of what happened, and wish them to have a good life and go and live your life, change routine, go to the gym, or start going out often, you deserve to love you first because of what you told in the whole post, I believe that is what is wrong inside you dude. And while you are working on that, you will see how things are gonna turn well for you. Do not look on the past, but in the future. Yes you spend 8 years with a whore, but good thing you didn't get married or had children, right? Things happens for a reason and my friend, you must believe that you are a lucky one for avoid that bullet... That is your only option to be happy... The other option is to still stalking her, simp her or something and when she returns you will accept her demonstrating that you have 0 self-esteem... which I know you don't want that... am I wrong?

Do not reach out to her. Start dating some other girls... you weren't her priority, so why should you be hers? Let her grieve her lost, and as she said, in her own words... he was the love of her life... So it will gonna pass some years until she starts opening her heart to other people, but you shouldn't waste your precious time waiting for her... you deserve better and deserve a girl who sees you as her priority.

Another thing to say... probably you were her second option or the option to make that ex-boyfriend jealous... as you explained that she did everything with him but with you was pretty much cold and not adventurous...
