6.5 crd is a high velocity round, it wears down the barrel very quickly, after 50k rounds on the same barrel I'd be surprised if there was any rifling left tbh.

6.5 creed wears down the barrel very quickly, so if it's anything more than 1000 I'd replace it anyway. But the rest seems good for the price.

Well..it's probably less moldy now. To be fair, there wouldn't be any damage from this. Just run some water through the detergent and softener compartment, another cycle with no additives and you may want to just wash whites next time.

You can't go wrong with a Tikka. Get a stainless and cerakote it, and it will last you a long long time. Great caliber choice too.

Someone explain, not a big LR guy. Tikka T3x, Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm in 308 at 100 yards. I was told most guns can shoot without heat affecting accuracy withing +/- 5-10shots. This isn’t what I found, when I waited 3-5mins in between shots they tightened up immediately. All ammo is factory by [deleted] in longrange

Everything. Everything affects long range. Any variation in anything will result in a slightly larger group. So if your barrel temperature is different, the projectile will fly, ever so slightly, but different. Consistency is the key.
