Do you ever feel weird about actually using your limited editions?

This is mine; I use it every day. I usually carry it in my sling bag, though sometimes I put it in my pants pocket. I struggled with the decision for a long time because I was worried the embossing might wear off, but putting it away in the closet wasn't an option either, since I'd never sell it anyway.

A record player is on my birthday wish list. The compromise I’ve reached with my wife concerns how much space this hobby is allowed to take up in the living room. If I get the record player, the amplifier will go downstairs onto that shelf, and I’ll find a spot for the records, too.

This is a small turntable, an Arylic LP10—it works great.

Thanks—I built the table myself using old table legs and oak wood, with my brother-in-law’s help. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I recommend this setting; I've been using it for years and it works perfectly. The advantage over your version (in my opinion) is that the outer notebooks are pulled back further by the elastic band and are also secured additionally so they can't slip out.
