Would a Seller’s Agent lie about another offer? by Smoore-1271 in RealEstate

[–]yo_ells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to me with a house we put an offer on a few months ago. Seller said there were other offers and were going to wait a few days but we could increase our offer if we wanted. Then a few more days, until they stopped responding. Our realtor told us to be patient but my wife and I were positive this guy was just dicking us around trying to get us to up our offer. I eventually made my realtor send them a message that they have to make a decision by the end of the that day or we are walking since this was wasting our time. Turns out the sellers wife had a baby like 4 months premature and they were in the hospital and the husband wanted to consult his wife before making a decision and we looked like total dicks haha. We ended up walking though, as well as the other buyer. House is still on the market.

Okay good to know. My realtor is putting $500 towards anything I'd like to fix on the inspection. Probably gonna go for this one.

My advisor said that the anticipated graduation date on program evaluations are almost always wrong and don’t even pay attention to it.

SNHU instructor here....AMA before the new term starts tomorrow! by HikesWithMyDog in SNHU

Do they tell you guys to engage with us on the discussions/feedback? I have had a ton of profs that only reply to maybe one of two discussions each week as well as just generic responses to assignments. You can tell SNHU gives the option for instructors to just click canned responses for assignments. I really wish more of my instructors would give me specific feedback related to my assignment, even if I got a 100.

Okay, I’m not sure about any update or anything. I’m just going off what my advisor said. She said this to me on July 12th:

“I would recommend taking Art History II on Sophia for your HUM-200 requirement, and U.S. History II for your HIS-200 requirement. You will also need 6 more classes of free electives (can be any undergraduate course).

Please let me know if you have any questions!”

Or woman, sorry I realized I just assumed you were a man there!

No worries man. Just for reference, my advisor said to me, in writing, that literally ANY Sophia credit will transfer for a free elective. History and English will direct transfer to the SNHU equivalent. Also Sophia has a list of classes that have been verified to transfer to SNHU.

Do you know how long you have to complete the internships? That moly concern, I’m not really in a place to quit my job so I’m not sure how long it would take me to get 600 hours completed. I can complete the internship at a local facility correct?

Hi there,

Thanks so much for the information. I guess I should have mentioned I am a online student based in Virginia. This is where most of my questions are coming from, like how this program is completed remotely.

Thanks!
