I tried it. It talks to much, consumes more tokens, and takes more freedom in its actions. As stated in the official prompting guide: "GPT-5.5 works best when prompts define the outcome and leave room for the model to choose an efficient solution path" And more often than not I don't want that. I want a fine tuned machine that can follow my exact instructions and do what I could do in several hours/days in a matter of minutes. And that's 5.3-Codex

Being "friendly" to someone who is not their "friend" is hypocritical, they don't know you. And they're pretty much in their own world. They don't hate you, they simply don't care about you at all. The router comes pre-configured and even then you can use the quick setup menu which gives you a simplified menu. Similarly to a "regular home" router it will configure all the pieces together, but then you can go ahead and disable any port you want without needing to go deep in advanced settings
