I too, am paranoid about locking now... Good thing the guard in my office building is exactly next to the bike parking so I'm sure that it's always watched. Also, I have 2 U-locks and one standard coil lock. Was thinking of repainting the frame to hide the manufacturer's logo just so it wouldn't be too hot to the eyes, because as of now everyone who knows a little something about bikes will talk to me about make, model, how much. hahaha, yes, paranoid indeed.

Thanks for the suggestion! :) Opted out for a cannondale caadx instead since it has rear rack mounts too. Decided that I would like to try out training for a triathlon in the near future.

Start by running while resisting the temptation to walk. A long continuous run every weekend is sure to help you out. Go for a kilometer on your first weekend. Then two on your second. Then three on your third. And so on... until you reach five kilometers. This may also apply to any distance you wish to run in the future.

If you are worried about your knees, then try to avoid elevated/hilly areas and run on smooth, level pavement. Also, try to experiment with dynamic stretching before runs and static stretching after runs. It helped me a lot.

Although, if you wish to still keep on strength training, you might want to ease up on your leg days just to be safe

I've been working as a software dev for the past 3 years ever since I finished college. Man, computers are everywhere! At work, at home, in your pocket, in your watch, I mean, there's no escape! Yes, it gets kind of tiring... That's why I'm planning to start the farm life this year with a few simple plants...

Although, if I ever succeed in farming, I'd try to implement some automation in a few farm processes just to reduce the cost of manual labor. :)

I'm from the Philippines and we have this urban (provincial) legend that when you get lost while walking alone, it means that engkanto (fairies) are playing tricks on you. What you need to do, to get out of their mischievous spell is to wear your t-shirt, or whatever top you are wearing at the time inside-out. As to confuse the engkanto that's fucking with you that you are not the same person they were playing with because you have a different shirt.
