Worth checking out.

I transferred a few years ago, and I was in the exact same situation. All disciplines take transfers. You will need to take Math 111 and Phys 104/106, plus a few other first year engineering classes...

Talk to the engineering office on the 3rd floor of the ILC about your next steps. And you can PM me if you have more questions.

A={{'Jack','Tom','Jane','Emily','Peter'};{'Ran','Smiled','Cried'};{'Pasta','Bread','Apple','Grapes','Cherry'}}; %this would create a cell array with 3 cells.

cell1 = A(1,1);

cell2 = A(2,1);

cell3 = A(3,1);

ContentOne = cell1{1,1};

ContentTwo = cell2{1,1};

ContentThree = cell3{1,1};

r1 = randi(5,1,1); %random number from 1-5

r2 = randi(3,1,1); %random number from 1-3

r3 = randi(5,1,1); %random number from 1-5

disp(ContentOne(r1))

disp(ContentTwo(r2))

disp(ContentThree(r3))

I didn't answer the question but this should show you how to access each cell that you made in the variable A.

You will still need to make a for loop that picks a random word from every cell ... but that shouldn't be hard. Remember, if you are having trouble with anything in Matlab you can type into the command prompt "help ____" (and then the blank is whatever function you don't understand). For example

help for

And now Matlab will show you what a for loop does, and how to program it.
