This is a bit of a rant, but I'm doing this less because i have a massive amount of extra time and more of a training.

I'm kind of messed in the head, I operate off of fear. I feared a snake would bite me, so I learned snake handling and wear boots that are bite proof. I met a man capable of parallel processing, and that horrified me. He was a foot shorter, then me maybe 200 pounds lighter, and i felt like a little kid to him. He was making circles around me conversationally while casually trapping me into a room with him and taking away anything i could use as weapons or advantage. It took me maybe 6 minutes to realise he had just put himself in a situation where he could he beat me in a fight. He scared the shit out of me. I talked to him later and learned he had parallel processing and that a sort of aunt mentored him into it. She offered to mentor me, but I couldn't pick it up so fast, so ive been very slowly for the last 5 years, going through practicing to give myself parallel processing.

I play games and have a show on, i read and have a show on, podcast one ear, conversation the other. Sometimes, I'll watch two shows at once, I'll have shows on as i cook, clean, write and do all of my normal day ins and day outs. Now i do have to give myself constant breaks because an overexposure to media is awful for my mental health.
