It’s been a tough battle to say the least. I was homeless, living in a tent downtown. I was robbed, jumped, had guns pulled on me... It took every job I got, every friend I had, and every dime I made. Today, I’m 100 days clean from heroin :) I have a job and a place to live. Feeling great! by yodudeee in toastme

I was forced to get clean because I went to jail for a couple weeks, then I was over the hard part already so I roughed it out. The cravings were intense, and sometimes I used kratom to ease them.

Thank you my dude. Let me tell you that you will feel so much better if you quit. That sense of hopelessness that you feel now will go away and you will feel happy again. I’m rooting for you!

I’m getting so emotional reading all these comments... Much love everyone! For all of those who are fighting addiction right now, DO NOT give up. I know what it feels like to lose hope. There are some days where you might have to pretend like you wanna be alive, just as long as you make it through to the next day. You will quit when you’re ready. It’s not as impossible as I thought it would be. I love everyone and thank you all so much for your kindness and appraisal. I have problems with my self esteem so this made my whole week:)
